Solemn High Evensong,
Burning of the Palms
Sunday Afternoon, February 18, 2007
On Sunday afternoon, February 18, we gathered
for a Solemn High
Evensong and
Burning of the Palms. The worship service featured the music of the
Gregorian Singers. At the end
of the service we burned the palms from last Palm Sunday in
preparation for Ash Wednesday.
After the liturgy we gathered in the Parish Hall for fellowship and
a traditional English tea.
