Our first “Beach Party Carnival” was held Feb. 22, 2006. Parishioners were encouraged to wear their summer clothes. George Gorbatenko (A.K.A. the Grill Master) cooked hotdogs and hamburgers, and there were fun games and activities for children.

The evening ended around 7 PM with a brief Eucharist and the Burning of the Palms in the “Holy Weber” in the center of our new Celtic Cross, as we prepared to enter into the liturgical season of Lent.
