How did we arrive at the present crises that we face in the Anglican Communion? In this two part series on May 13 and May 27, 2007, we explored the effects of colonialism, globalization, urbanization, and foreign debt on the life of the church, and used postcolonial theory as a perspective to understand the present life of the Anglican Communion.

The presentations were based on the book Beyond Colonial Anglicanism: The Anglican Communion in the Twenty-First Century, by Ian T. Douglas, Pui-Lan Kwok (editors), Church Publishing, 2003. ISBN: 0898693578.

The series was led by the Rev. Marilyn Baldwin.
