ECW Spring Luncheon

The annual ECW Spring Luncheon will be held at Gulden’s Roadhouse on Highway 61 on Saturday, April 26 at 11:30 a.m.  All women of our parish are welcome and you can order what you want from the menu and you can pay at that time.  Please call Judy Kroesch by Tuesday, April 22 so that we can let the restaurant know how many will be in attendance.  We hope to see you there!

ECW Grants

The Episcopal Church Women will be reviewing grant proposals at their April 8 meeting.  If you, or a member of the committee you are on, have a request for funds, please have the written request submitted to the E.C.W. mailbox outside the Church Office prior to the April 8 meeting.

Rummage Again?

Get your act together and pack up usable discards for the week of the Rummage Sale, April 28-May 3.  What a better way to rid yourself of unwanted stuff that will become treasures for someone else!  (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.)   Store your items in the shelves behind the dividers after April 1 at the north end of the Parish Hall, stacking as tightly and neatly as possible to utilize space.  Everything you bring should be usable and in working order.  No large items: TV’s, mattresses, typewriters, microwaves, etc.  We cannot recycle them, nor can we put them in the dumpster!  Large pieces of furniture should be cleared first.  No items should be left in church entry, please!  (A lot of “No’s”, but this is a twice a year battle.)

Sorting begins on Monday, April 28, and continues throughout the week.  Workers can purchase as they sort.  Prices Thursday and thereafter will be $2.00 per bag.  Sale schedule is as follows:  All Parish Sale on Thursday, May 1, 7:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday, May 2, 9:00-12:00 p.m.  Public sale on Saturday, May 3 from 9:00-12:00 p.m.  Lunch will be served Tuesday-Thursday and sitter service will be available Monday-Friday.  Clean-up people are always needed at noon on May 3.  With enough volunteers, we’ll be done by 1:30.  Questions?  Call Lynn Gadbois or Pat Pickering.
