ADULT EDUCATION

During April we will be continuing three series in Adult Education:

  • 1. Inquirer's Course: Exploring Membership in the Community of St. John in the Wilderness (finishes Apr. 6). This is a joint effort with the Welcoming and Evangelism Committee. Meetings are held from 10 to 11 am in the Parish Hall.

  • 2. Exploring the Gospel of Mark (finishes Apr. 9) A  5-part Wednesday Evening Lenten Series exploring the first written witness of the good news (gospel) of Jesus Christ. Our meetings are held from 7:00 to 8:00 pm in the Parlor.

  • 3. Three Faiths, One God (through May 11): A 6-part series comparing and contrasting how Christianity, Judaism, and Islam view (1) the person of God, (2) God's people, (3) how we should live the holy life, (4) the relationship between believers and nonbelievers, and (5) the goal of human history: the end of time. Our meetings will be held Sundays in the Parlor from 10 to 10:50 am.
