FINANCIAL UPDATES

The deadlines keep coming faster, so this will be very brief.  Through the end of February, income is still comparing very favorably with our budget.  Pledge income collected is slightly ahead of target.  Expenses are also on track so far.  We should find out more soon about how good our budget assumptions were for search expenses and costs for our new rector.

I hope to have a finance committee meeting in late April to begin a few projects that need to get done.  The last quarter of the calendar year we get consumed with budget items and the first quarter I don’t have time.  That puts the balance of the finance committee work into the second and third quarters.  If this fits your calendar and you have an interest in getting more involved in the finances of our parish, drop me an email at Lmahoney@mucr.com.  We would be happy to have your help.
